Artist- and First Nations–led, the 22nd Biennale of Sydney presents an expansive exhibition of contemporary art, which will connect international and local artists to South-West Sydney.
The title NIRIN means ‘edge’ in the language of the Wiradjuri people of western New South Wales. The mother nation of NIRIN's Artistic Director, Brook Andrews. NIRIN will feature across six venues throughout the Sydney area. The Art Gallery of New South Wales, Artspace, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Cockatoo Island, the MCA and the National Art School.
