Camden and Campbelltown have great links to the Melbourne Cup, Camden’s Camelot would never have been built without the winnings from one (1877, Chester ) and a horse would never have won except for the guidance of a young highly experienced Campbelltown Jockey, Charles Stanley (1868, Glencoe).
