The Mother's Day Classic is a nationwide event that brings communities together to raise awareness and funds for vital breast and ovarian cancer research.
Come down to Rotary Cowpasture Reserve (Softball Macarthur Grounds) on Mother's Day morning for breakfast and coffee. Enjoy the beautiful singers and local stallholders. Just before the run and walk, tribute will be paid to those who have bravely fought, continue to fight or have passed away from Breast and Ovarian Cancer. The walk will then start with the "Stronger Together" survivors wave.
The 5-kilometre run will start, followed by a beautiful 4-kilometre walk along the Camden Bike Track. Return to Rotary Cowpasture Reserve for a barbecue lunch cooked by Next Gen Rotary and family-friendly entertainment, including a Jumping Castle, Face Painting, a surprise performance, as well as performances from local dance schools and Tee-Ball games. Enjoy the various food stalls and stroll through the Mother's Day Gift Stalls. Buy tickets in the Raffle! There are some incredible prizes donated by amazing local businesses.
To top it off, you can have some beautiful Mother's Day photos with your family, taken by a professional photographer.
